Graphical tools for technical analysis

Lines and other graphic elements in the trading terminal are used to mark the price movement on the chart.

They are related to technical analysis tools. Often they are also called graphical tools or graphical analysis. With their help, a trader can mark the chart and mark the levels that are important for him.

For example, to determine the direction of a trend and understand in time that it has changed, you will need trend lines.

Graphical analysis

Vertical lines represent any areas on the graph.

Horizontal lines indicate significant price levels, the so-called support and resistance levels.

Trend lines are used to indicate the direction of the current trend, and it is also convenient to use them to indicate price channels.

To designate price channels, you can also use a corresponding instrument called an equidistant channel.
