ActTrader is a trading Platform that allows you to buy and sell currencies and other financial instruments. This video covers the basic features of ActTrader, please check our other videos and tutorials for more advanced features. 
The tub section of ActTrader interface is the FX voyager toolbar. Use FX voyager toolbar to quickly navigate your way around the platform. The tabs on top of FX voyager can be used to quickly locate the icons you need. Use the help of miles overhands to view descriptions and hands for each icons. The middle section of ActTrader consist of your workspaces. This is where your all trading takes place. Here you can open or close positions, place various orders, as well as view and analyze charts. The workspaces are customizable and you can have as many workspaces as you need. Use the tabs on the top of a workspaces to navigate between them. Right click to create a new workspace or close the one you no longer need. 
Use the Desktop Profile feature, located under the Home Tab of the FX voyager to save your custom layouts, load preset default layouts or load your saved custom layouts. 
The bottom section of ActTrader is the account information bar. Here you can see your Balance, Equity, Usable and Used Margin as well as your net Profit and Loss, all updated in real time. 
The dealing rates window displays the current market prices of financial instruments. If you do not see dealing rates window, navigate to it from the Windows tab of FX voyager.
To open a Buy or Sell position click on the Bid or Ask price respectively. A new position dialog box will open. Enter your desired amount and click OK to open the position. The Open Position window lists all your open positions. If you do not see the Open Positions window, navigate to it from the Windows tab of FX voyager.
To close the position click on the Close price in the Open positions window. The Close position dialogue box will open. To close the entire position click OK. You can close the part of the position by entering the amount you wish to close. A new position with a remaining amount will appear in your Open positions window.
Use Stop and Limit orders to close the positions automatically when the desired price rate is reached. To place the Stop or Limit order right click on the position you want and select Stop or Limit. An Order dialog box will open. Select the price rate that the order should execute at by adjusting the rate directly. Alternatively, the Distance in points from the current rate or the Projected Profit and Loss can be modified to adjust the execution price for orders. Click OK to place the order.
The Order window lists all your active orders. If you do not see the Order window, navigate to it from the Windows tab of FX voyager. Use the Orders window to modify or remove orders that had not reached the execution price yet. To change the price of an order, right click on the order and select Modify order. Enter the new price for the orders execution and click OK. To remove an order, right click on the order and select Remove order. Click OK to confirm.
The news window displays major worldwide update on events that can have an impact on financial markets, an essential tool used by traders to stay ahead of the market. If you do not see the News window, navigate to it from the Windows tab of FX voyager. Here you can search for specific news events with a key words search or filter your news with a key words. Simply enter your key word into the field and hit Enter. You can also add additional news field sources using RSS field functionality. Charts are used by traders to review and analyze market trends for instruments. Charts are opened by clicking a New Charts open icon find both at Home and Charts tabs at FX voyager. In the New Chart dialog box select the instrument and time scale you need and click OK to open a chart. You can add a multiple drone tools and indicators to age your analysis and even open or close positions with our Trading-from-charts functionality.
